BOARD of MANAGERS
The MSIA is governed by a volunteer Board of Managers. The Board reflects the diversity of our organization: manufacturing, education, government, energy, food, consumer products, and health care are typically represented on the Board at any given time. We have ongoing liaisons with group self-insurance companies, the Michigan Manufacturers Association, and the Michigan Chamber of Commerce. Third-party administrators of self-insureds also participate in the MSIA’s activities, as well as employers who are technically “insured” but retain high deductibles.
